Christian was silent. He didn’t know about that but he felt like prodding at that subject wouldn’t be a good idea right now. He also had no idea that she had left “No..but I’m sure they wanted to though with the way I acted.” He smirked “Hell I’ll admit I wanted to kill them with some of the things they did.”

“Christian… Just drop it…” He sighed, beginning to feel incredibly guilty again.

“But I….” He sighed “Whatever just trying to help”

The waitress soon arrived with their food, happy to learn Hopa currently here anymore with Eddie. She set their plates down, and walked away. Alek immediately dug into his steak, extremely hungry since all he’s had to eat where a few chips.

Max began eating his mac n’ cheese and Christian felt around for his sandwich until he found it then took a big bite out of it

Alek couldn’t help but smirk as he saw how pathetic Christian really looked while searching for his sandwich. “Make sure you don’t miss your mouth too.” He teased.

Max giggled a bit at the remark. “Oh ha ha ha make fun of the blind guy that’s easy enough to do.” He smiled “Maybe you should try chewing your food instead of just vacuuming it down.” That remark made Max giggle more.

Alek rolled his eyes, returning to his steak but still smiling in amusement.
Hopa returned soon after with Eddie once again around her neck, taking a seat next to her brother and sipping on he juice.

Max glanced nervously at the snake but turned his gaze to his food once more.

“She knows a little English, she just doesn’t wanna speak it.” Alek shrugged, crossing his arms behind his head.
“I… Forgot… Some of it…” She said slowly, frowning and letting Eddie slither onto her hand. “And… It is just hard to… Speak… English for me…”

“Well that’s what learning’s for. Besides it’d probably be easier for you to learn English than for us to learn whatever language you’re speaking.” He smirked

“I said… It is hard…” She growled, a little annoyed with Alek’s weird friends. Alek frowned at her, noticing her temper. “Calm down, Hopa. I can teach you anything, you know.”
She returned the harsh gaze. “It is not like… I am staying… Akecheta. I have… My own… Life.” She grumbled.

“Well why not? Family is really important.” Christian’s smile faded. He was a firm believer that family mattered above all else.

“Your family… Did not kill you once…” She muttered, before standing up from the booth and heading for the bathroom without a word.
Alek sighed as she left, letting his arms drop to his side. “Dammit…” He mumbled, really wishing his sister wasn’t so stubborn and stupid at times.
